Difference Between Tourist Visa and Visit Visa

A tourist visa is solely valid for tourism and recreation, whereas a visit visa is valid for corporate events, attending a conference, or any other purpose.

A tourist visa allows you to stay for 14 or 30 days and can be extended for another 40 days. A visit visa allows you to stay for 90 days.

Generally, a Visit Visa fee is higher than that of a Tourist Visa fee.

A Tourist Visa cannot be converted into any other Visa while a Visit Visa can be converted into an Employment Visa.

The sponsor of a Tourist Visa can be a friend, relative, or any local agency of that country while the sponsor of the Visit Visa has to be a citizen of that country.
